What we collect, what we do with it, and your rights. Last updated May 11, 2026.
This site is a single essay and a handful of supporting pages. There is no diagnostic form, no signup, no newsletter at launch. We collect almost nothing. Standard anonymized server logs and privacy-respecting analytics are the extent of it.
Information you submit: if you write to us via one of the email addresses on this site, the message content and your email address. Nothing else.
Information collected automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps). We use a privacy-respecting analytics service that anonymizes IP addresses before storage.
Information we do not collect: third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, cross-site trackers, fingerprinting data. We do not buy or rent contact lists.
Server logs and analytics data are used for security monitoring, debugging, and understanding how readers move through the essay. If you email us, your message is used to respond to your inquiry and may be retained in our records.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you (GDPR for EU/UK; CCPA/CPRA for California). To exercise any right, contact privacy@lawshift.ai.
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
